Palliative Care WA Annual Commemoration
Palliative Care WA is inviting any member of the general public who is bereaved, or has supported someone who is bereaved, to the Annual Commemoration onSunday, 18 October from 3.45-6.00pm at Winthrop Hall, University of Western Australia. The Annual Commemoration is an opportunity for anyone who is bereaved to light a candle in memory of their loved one, seek comfort from the experiences of others and generate hope for the future. The event offers space for reflection and celebration of life accompanied by beautiful live music, spoken word performances and a catered supper. Staff and volunteers who have cared for people who have died may also find the event relevant and meaningful. Please share this information in your organisation’s newsletters or website.
