Requiem - Asylum Seekers Fundraising Concert
This Requiem performance by Karl Jenkins is a reflection on the loss of life among displaced people in our world as they seek asylum. It combines the prayers of a Requiem with Japanese Haiku poetry, Japanese flute and drum.
On Sunday, 11 October, at St Mary’s Cathedral, Victoria Square, Perth at 2.30pm. Featuruing Lux et Veritas & Camerata 1685 with Conductor Jangoo Chapkhana.
Cost $35.00 ($25.00 concession). Profits will go to MercyCare and the Humanitarian Group supporting asylum seekers in Perth.
