In Memory of Her: Women in the New Testament

There are many named women in the Christian Scriptures who are well-known to us, and others simply known as “a woman.” Studies into the roles of women in the Early Church display the importance of their relationship to key characters, especially Jesus, and the need for various ministries carried out by women. These five weeks on Wednesdays, 10-12.30pm, Newman Siena Centre will also include a study of women in the Gospels/Acts, St Paul’s letters, starring leading ladies and “hidden figures.” Cost $35 Presenter: Dr Margaret Scharf OP. Further info or to register, visit www.cfe.org.au/courses-and-events, email cfe@perthcatholic.org.au, or 08 9241 5221.
