The Cathedral Concert Series 2017 continues with a fun sing-along concert titled Let my spirit sing! Sunday 20 August, 2-4pm, St Mary’s Cathedral, Perth. This is a feast of spirituals and hymns to truly lift the spirit featuring Cathedral Choir and brass ensemble from the West Australian Fire and Emergency Services Concert Band. Repertoire includes well-loved spirituals: ‘Deep River’, ‘All my trials’, ‘Just a closer walk with thee’ interspersed with some traditional hymns including ‘Amazing Grace, ‘Abide with me’ sung with the choir, brass band and organ. A light complimentary Miss Maud afternoon tea will be served during the interval in the Cathedral Parish Centre and adjoining courtyard. Tickets $35 and $28 concession. Click here for flyer.
