South Perth Parish Centenary

South Perth Parish will mark the appointment of Fr. Raphael Pace as founding Parish Priest in October 1917. All current and former parishioners are warmly invited.

Fr. Pace, a Maltese priest, was recruited for the Archdiocese by Archbishop Clune, who was Catholic Chaplain General during World War I and in that capacity he visited Malta. Archbishop Costelloe will be the Principal Celebrant of the Centenary Mass on Sunday, 29 October, 9.30am. At the conclusion of the Mass, the Archbishop will launch the newly published parish history. Copies will be available for 20$ each. The Archbishop and concelebrants will process to the newly built Columbarium, including a beautiful marble replica of Michelangelo, Pieta. This will be followed by a reception.
