Bible Basics for Contemporary Times

Bible Basics for Contemporary Times on Thursdays 7-28 September, 10-11.30am, Newman Siena Centre (Clune Lecture Theatre).

Though it sits as a foundational component of the Christian faith, many people can struggle to understand the Bible; how we came to have it, how we use it and what is really in there. Even those who feel they are quite familiar with the Scriptures recognise there is always more to discover. This short course will look at how we can make sense of the Bible in the modern world. Various skills and concepts are explored including inspiration and truth, how the Bible was formed, how we can understand difficult parts, and what Catholics and Christians in general really believe about scripture.

Cost $25. Presenter: Mr Joe Tedesco. Further info or to register, visit http://cfe.org.au/courses-and-events/cfe@perthcatholic.org.au, or 08 9241 5221.
