Never See a Need Without Doing Something About It! - Launch of LifeLink Christmas Appeal
Article and Photographs by Fr Robert Cross
At a liturgical celebration in St Mary's Cathedral on 19 October, Bishop Sproxton, together with Mr Brett Mendez, launched the 2010 Christmas Appeal of LifeLink.
Representatives from Parishes and Archdiocesan agencies were in attendance.
A special feature of the evening was the presence of "Saint Mary of the Cross MacKillop", alias Sr Margaret Kane RSJ, who spoke to Bishop Sproxton about the importance of charity and compassion, saying,
"Never see a need without doing something about it!".
