American Catholic author and chastity speaker Jason Evert will speak in Perth across two days during the sixth week of Lent.
Evert will conduct his talks in schools and will host two public events on the evenings of 22 and 23 March, focusing on the topics of love, sex, friendship and interpersonal relations in the modern world.
On the Thursday 22 March, he will speak about the core of the Sacrament of Marriage at Willetton Parish, Sts John and Paul Church.
Evert will then give two Friday evening talks at St Peter the Apostle Church, Inglewood, to parents and anyone who has a role in raising children about how to raise pure teenagers. The focus of his presentation will then be aimed at teenagers about the beauty and importance of chastity.
He and his wife, Crystalina, have spoken to more than one-million people on six continents about the virtue of chastity – including World Youth Days in Sydney, Madrid and Kraków.
After working for Catholic Answers in San Diego for more than a decade, the couple moved to Denver and began Chastity Project – a new ministry of faith focused solely on promoting purity.
Although the two speak to 100,000 students per year, one of their dreams was to make chastity resources available to as many souls around the world as possible.
Registration for the Perth events is by donation (suggested at $15 per person).
