  • Iconic Cathedral host Covid clinic, returns after Christmas

    Perth’s St Mary’s Cathedral COVID-19 vaccination clinic being held over two weekends is part of the Archdiocese and Catholic Church’s desire to help protect the WA community. Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB and Cathedral Dean Rev Dr Sean Fernandez spoke about the importance of demonstrating this ‘act of love’ that will benefit the wider community.

  • Draw Near Project aids Council for Asylum Seekers, Refugees and Detainees (CARAD)

    The WACMRO Draw Near Project was launched in June, receiving great response from the school and parish communities. By the end of the school term, the school had collected enough food items for 27 food care packages and the parish had collected enough hygiene products for 58 hygiene care packages.

  • CSSWA Symposium highlights need for community to do more

    The inaugural Catholic Social Services Western Australia Symposium 'Walking with his people' held on 24 and 25 November at Newman Siena attracted a wide range of speakers from leaders within the Catholic welfare service delivery.
