Oceania bishops send prayers, condolences to Syria, Turkey
The Catholic bishops of Oceania have sent a message of prayerful condolence and solidarity to Church and civic leaders in Turkey and Syria as the countries suffer the effects of devastating earthquakes.

2022 Catholic Education Higher Achievers celebrated
Approximately 30 per cent of eligible Year 12 students in Catholic schools achieved an ATAR above 90, with thirty-eight students obtaining an ATAR of 99+. Five students received Exhibitions.

Speaking on the occasion of the 2023 Beginning of the Year Mass for Catholic Education, Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton told of the work of St John Bosco, highlighting that those present are called to help children of all abilities and backgrounds, to embark on the pathway of education, on the pathway to personal growth, to be equipped to take their place creatively in society.

FMI Congress calls on attendees to have a heart ready to worship
The annual 33rd Flame Ministries Congress, held 26 to 29 January at Mater Christi Community Centre, Yangebup, focused on the theme “Heart of Worship”, and included in-depth day teachings and workshops, evening rallies, and was this year directed towards the younger generation.
