Perth Archbishop Timothy Costelloe SDB, Australian Catholic Bishops Conference President, and Dr Trudy Dantis, Director of the National Centre for Pastoral Research, reflect on the first half of the Second Assembly of the 16th Synod of Bishops live from Rome.
Archbishop Costelloe expresses his confidence that they have moved on from “generalities” to “deeper focusing on the issues”.
He believes the document to be offered to Pope Francis at the end of the assembly will be something “very real and very concrete”.
