Little Sisters of the Poor (LSP) - Glendalough Home for the Aged

Little Sisters of the Poor (LSP) founded by Saint Jeanne Jugan in 1839 in Saint Servan, France. Introduced to Australia in the Archdiocese of Melbourne from France by Archbishop James Goold OSA in 1884. First WA community established at Adelaide Terrace, Perth, from Sydney, NSW in 1920.

The division offers a broad range of community aged care services, retirement village living and residential aged care in its 113 bed Catherine McAuley Residential Care Facility.
Mt La Verna Retirement Village (Inc)

Mt La Verna provides residential aged care with 41 beds located in St Francis Hostel and independent living from 33 villa units. We strive to provide residents with opportunities and encouragement to make the ageing process a meaningful part of their life. To encourage and support residents to live as independently as they can and to ensure all people in the Village community have access to our service based on relative need regardless of race, colour or social status. We are committed to providing quality services and to continually improve the services to residents. In pursuing the highest quality services we continually seek the involvement of our Board of Management, staff, residents and their families and other key people in the community whenever appropriate.
