Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) is the official agency for youth ministry in the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, assisting young people aged 12–30 to build a lasting relationship with Jesus.
The Liaison, Youth Engagement plays a vital role in fostering vibrant, faith-filled communities for young people across the Archdiocese. You will be responsible for coordinating dynamic youth events and strengthening parish-based engagement initiatives. This includes delivering programs that inspire young people to explore and deepen their Catholic faith, while also supporting the growth of youth and young adult groups.
You will work closely with clergy, parish teams, youth leaders, and volunteers to manage the end-to-end planning of events—from concept development and logistics to promotion and evaluation. This role also involves contributing to the success of youth programs, including setup and pack-down, transporting equipment, and coordinating volunteers and participants.
This role will require you to work some weeknights and weekends when our youth are most active.
