OFFICER, LITURGY (CENTRE FOR CHRISTIAN INITIATION AND LITURGY)

Officer, Liturgy (Centre for Christian Initiation and Liturgy)

Permanent, Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

The Centre for Christian Initiation and Liturgy provide Formation, training, support to parishes and Catholic schools in all aspects of liturgical life and Christian Initiation. The Centre collaborates with priests, chaplains, parish liturgy coordinators, and Christian Initiation teams to ensure the faithful implementation of liturgical documents and other RCIA processes.

The Officer, Liturgy plays a pivotal role in providing support to the Director, in providing formation and support to Parish communities on all aspects of liturgical life. The officer will assist with developing and presenting parish workshops to support and encourage the implementation of sound theological and pastoral principles and practices in all liturgical matters.

This role may require you to work outside of normal office hours.

The successful candidate must have good interpersonal and communication skills, an in-depth understanding of the Catholic Faith and the Catholic Church. A valid National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, WA Driver’s License, and proof of Right to Work in Australia is required.
