Maximum Term (12 Months), Full-Time
Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) is the official agency for youth ministry in the Catholic Archdiocese of Perth, assisting young people aged 12–30 to build a lasting relationship with Jesus.
The Officer, Mission and Ministry plays a pivotal role in empowering young people by fostering vibrant, faith-filled communities and cultivating youth leadership. You will be responsible for delivering programs that inspire young people to engage deeply with their faith, build leadership capacity, and live out the Gospel through meaningful mission and ministry.
This role includes mentoring youth leaders, facilitating faith formation, and promoting active participation in parish life. You will also coordinate outreach and social justice initiatives, support youth events, and collaborate with parishes, schools, and Church movements.
This role will require you to work some weeknights and weekends when our youth are most active.

The successful candidate must have a Diploma-level qualification (or higher) in Youth or Social Work, Communications, Theology, or a related field. An in-depth understanding of the Catholic Faith and Church practices is essential. A valid National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check, WA Driver’s Licence, and proof of Right to Work in Australia is required. |
