Centrecare’s post abortion counselling service is available to couples, women, family members and friends who have been affected by an unplanned pregnancy or post-pregnancy loss and associated grief.  The counselling takes into consideration the unique and specialised components of a woman’s age, life-stage, religious and/or cultural contexts.

A thorough working knowledge and understanding of unplanned and post-pregnancy issues is provided in this specialised counselling service. A safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment is provided in the counselling sessions where clients are able to express their needs and receive unbiased information relevant to their circumstances. 

These professional protocols enable those clients affected to determine their own decisions free from the value judgments of others. Centrecare makes interpreter services available on request for a culturally diverse clientele and meets requests for free crèche facilities. Crèche facilities are specifically for children under the age of twelve who accompany their parent/s to counselling services. Day and evening sessions are offered with immediate appointments available.

Founded in 1984 by a Registered Nurse, Abortion Grief Australia (AGA) is a not-for-profit, non-political organization providing specialized care and advocacy for those experiencing abortion grief / trauma and pregnancy crises.

The Fullness of Life Centre endeavours to make a range of quality services accessible to people. The Centre is a not for profit organisation established in 1988. Online services as well as individual counselling and group workshops or retreats are available.
