Perth Metropolitan and Peel Region to enter into Phase 1 COVID Restrictions

Effective 12.00pm, Sunday, 27 June 2021, Phase 1 Restrictions were introduced for the Perth metropolitan area and the Peel region for a minimum of three (3) days.

The following restrictions apply directly to the clergy, agencies, staff and the operations of the Archdiocese of Perth during this period.

Masks are mandatory, except for primary school students and those who are exempt, in the following places: 
•   indoors;
•   on Public Transport; and
•   in outdoor public areas where physical distancing is not possible.

Places of Worship
•   An 150 person limit and the 2sqm rule applies to places of worship.
•   Weddings and Funerals may proceed under Phase 1 Restrictions.

Schools
•   Remain Open
•   Mask-wearing is mandatory except for primary school students.

Hospitals, aged and disability care
•A maximum of four (4) personal visitors is permitted per patient/per day.
