ADMINISTRATION OFFICER (ARCHIVES AND INFORMATION GOVERNANCE OFFICE)

Administration Officer (Archives and Information Governance Office) Permanent, Part-Time (0.40 FTE – 15.2 hours per week)
Preferred Work Days: across 2 or 3 days per week

The Archives and Information Governance Office (AIGO) plays an important role in capturing, preserving and providing access to the documentary heritage and organisational memory of the Archdiocese. The AIGO also has responsibility for the governance of Archdiocesan records and information.  The Administration Officer performs administrative support for the Director of AIGO (Archdiocesan Archivist) and assists with the maintenance of and access to the AIGO collection.

The successful candidate must have a willingness and capacity to support the Catholic ethos. They will have:

  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • National Police Clearance
  • Capability with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with standard office equipment (telephone, fax, copier, scanner etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for both internal and external enquiries
  • Able to adapt to change and proactive approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

High attention to detail and proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive records would be an advantage.

A valid National Police Clearance, WA Driver’s Licence, and proof of Right to Work in Australia required.
